NCMA Searching For State Advocates

NCMA is a valuable resource for the Missing Adults in our country and the families that are searching for them. If you have the time, experience, and compassion, please consider a volunteer position in your home state.


The National Center for missing adults needs state advocate. The National Center for Missing Adults is looking for volunteer as State Advocates and approximately 2-3 per state. As a State Advocate, you will be the life breath needed for NCMA to build a foundation of grassroots supporters nationwide and to bring awareness to Missing Endangered Adults.

The State Advocate will be responsible for the following duties:

To support their individual state in the advocacy of
the Federal Bill HR 632 by setting a meeting with
their US Senators and Congressional leaders to
promote passing of the legislation through the US
Senate.

1. To interact and communicate with other parents of
missing adults and family members, provide them
support and resources in their time of need.

2. To promote the action of building a grassroots base
of volunteers and supporters in each state to bring
awareness of missing adults.

3. To build a charitable base of donors and
contributions by interacting with other community entities such as churches and other
institution, social services, corporations, other community and faith based organizations.

4. To assist in the organization of a planned trip to Washington DC in July or August of 2009
and conduct a meeting with US Senators in promoting HR632 and support of the
legislation.

Much needed states include the following: AL, AZ, AR, CT, DE, HI, ID LA, MT, NV, NH, ND, OK, OR, SC, SD, VT, WV, WY
